Roslie Bertell is a Roman Catholic nun and a mathematician/statistician who is world-famous for her grasp of nuclear weapons, nuclear power, and the medical effects of low-level radiation, as well as her ability to put this information in the context of common-sense values and ethical choices. She is the author of an informative and thought-provoking book, ironically entitled "No Immediate Danger: Prognosis for a Radioactive Earth".
